NPW Hosts Charity Golf Tournament

National Performance Warehouse (NPW) hosted a charity golf tournament for more than 100 players from the automotive industry last month, the parts distributor recently shared.

Hosted on Dec. 11 at Miami Lakes Golf Club, the event ultimately raised $6,000 for First Tee Miami, the company said.

In addition to having more than 100 players from the automotive industry, the PGA’s Erik Compton, a Miami native will several professional PGA wins, held a clinic for participating players. Compton was also stationed on the 18th hole to assist players, the company said.

Following play, NPW hosted participants for a dinner with awards and recognition, as well as door prizes. The winner was CAM Automotive at 16 under par.

“We are very grateful for the support of all our sponsors who make this event possible,” said Chris Pacey, CEO of NPW. “We certainly know that both our customers and our suppliers create business opportunities here, as well as friendships, as they spend time outside the normal business process. We are also glad to have the proceeds benefit the First Tee of Miami. We look forward to our 33rd event next year.”
