NFIB Releases Employee Retention Tax Credit Guide

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) recently released an Employee Retention Tax Credit guide that aims to help small business take full advantage of the tax relief.

For employers, the federal Employee Retention Credit (ERC) can provide up to $33,000 per employee in tax credits over 2020 and 2021. While the current law says a business can wait as late as 2025 to complete the paperwork and receive the ERC as a refund, the NFIB’s guide can help determine how to receive this COVID-19 recovery tax relief right away.
