New Carlisle Auctions Event Kicks Off This Weekend
Fresh off its best auction of all-time, Spring Carlisle, Carlisle Auctions returns to the Carlisle Expo Center to host its third event of the year: The Carlisle Auctions Summer Sale. This new one-day event is set to open at 11 a.m. on June 16.
The Summer Sale is slightly different from other Carlisle Auctions events, offering more of a festival atmosphere compared to other auctions, according to organizers. The event will also include future collectibles, a new products showcase anchored by a trio of local auto dealers, food trucks, and beer and wine samples. Spectator admission is free, according to organizers.
The auction will feature more than 200 cars and trucks spanning nearly 100 years of automotive history crossing the auction block without a reserve price. Notable vehicles going to auction include a low milage 2006 Ford GT, a 1966 Shelby GT350H and a 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertible.
