Motovicity Becomes Automotive Parts Association Shareholder

Motovicity Distribution has become the newest shareholder in Automotive Parts Association (APA).

“We are excited about joining Automotive Parts Associates,” said Jason Shatrowskas, Motovicity’s vice president of purchasing. “The opportunities APA has available are a good fit for our organization and we’re looking forward to a long partnership with the group and networking with other members.”

APA is a member-owned cooperative with more than 70 shareholders of independent auto parts distributors with more than 400 warehouses and company store locations throughout North America.

“We are thrilled to welcome Motovicity Distribution to the APA family,” said Douglas Squires, chairman of the APA board of directors. “The diversity of our newest shareholder adds to the distinctive differences that create the foundations of support that gives us strength and unifies our organization, in addition to providing exciting opportunities for program growth.”

Motovicity will have full voting rights as an APA member and access to business intelligence programs, according to the association.
