Motor State Distributing will host its second annual Safety Summit, presented by K1 Racegear. Scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Lane Automotive in Watervliet, Michigan, the Safety Summit brings together racers, track owners and promoters, and manufacturers to learn more about safety on and around the track.
This event will include informational seminars featuring NASCAR’s David Stremme and other industry experts, as well as NHRA/IHRA chassis certification sessions. Top safety gear manufacturers will be on hand to provide guidance on proper selection and fitment of equipment, including measuring for custom suits. Track safety personnel will offer demonstrations and simulations.
The Motor State Safety Summit provides a valuable learning opportunity for anyone involved in automotive racing, company officials stated in a press release. Those interested in attending this event can register at motorstate.com through March 1, 2026.
“The Motor State Safety Summit has gained nationwide attention as a leading resource for racers, builders and track owners to learn about best practices, share ideas and drive change to make automotive racing safer for everyone involved,” said Ryan Disterheft, Motor State Distributing product manager.
