Mickey Thompson Sponsoring 3 Off-Road Racers for 2020 Season
Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels is gearing up for another season as a sponsor of three Pro 2 racers in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS).
Team M/T racers Brian Deegan, Ricky Gutierrez and Dave Mason Jr. will be battling it out in the Pro 2 class, which features two-wheel drive full race trucks running the demanding short course circuit.
“We’re thrilled to sponsor Pro 2 racers Brian Deegan, Ricky Gutierrez and Dave Mason Jr.,” said Ken Warner, vice president of marketing for Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels. “The LOORRS events put off-road racing parts—including our competition tires—to the ultimate test.”
Last year saw Deegan finish fourth overall in the Pro 2 season standings and Gutierrez finish ninth. After a multi-year hiatus, Mason Jr. is returning to a full schedule for 2020.
The 2020 LOORRS schedule kicks off the weekend of March 14-15 at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California.
