Michigan Bill to Ease Towing Restrictions Becomes Law

Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder recently signed a bill that loosens the state’s towing laws to allow more aftermarket access to residents, according to SEMA Action Network (SAN).

H.B. 5100 allows for the attachment of a tow ball, bicycle rack, removable hitch, or any other device designed to carry an object on the rear of a vehicle without violation of the statute that the rear license plate shall not be obstructed.
