Meyer Distributing announced a new partnership with Horizon Hobby.
Headquartered in Champaign, Illinois, Horizon Hobby is a global provider of radio-control products and accessories, offering a broad portfolio of industry-leading brands. This partnership allows Horizon Hobby to extend its reach into the automotive aftermarket while giving Meyer’s customers access to Horizon’s brands, including ARRMA, Axial, and Losi, company officials stated in a press release.
“This relationship with Meyer Distributing strengthens Horizon Hobby’s ability to deliver high-performance RC products into the automotive channel, reaching retailers and enthusiasts who live and breathe performance, innovation and fun,” says Bernie O’Neill, national account manager at Horizon Hobby.
“These RC cars bring a little bit of your childhood back as soon as you get them out of the box,” states Nick Gramelspacher, VP of brand strategy for Meyer. “Great showroom/counter pieces, or just have one in the customer waiting area for kids (or adults) while waiting on their vehicle or RV.”
