Meyer Distributing Opens New Maryland Cross-Dock

aftermarket parts distributionMeyer Distributing has opened a new cross-dock in Hanover, Maryland, the parts distributor announced.

The cross-dock will have a direct feed from Meyer’s Pennsylvania distribution hub, the company said, which houses an inventory of automotive accessories, crash parts and RV parts in the region.

“It’s been a busy crash and collision season,” says Jim Sherman, sales manager of the Crash and Collision Division at Meyer. “We have invested significantly in inventory, and we’re happy to see the sales follow. Some customers are giving us a try for the first time, and many are now giving daily orders and really getting in a groove taking advantage of the overall savings and speed we bring to the market.”

“We are investing heavily in the Northeast as our focal point for 2023,” said Jeff Braun, CEO of Meyer. “We have increased our Northeast warehousing footprint from 180,000 to 425,000 square feet in the past 4 months with plans to add substantially more soon. We will be opening a host of new sites to significantly improve delivery service, and we’re looking forward to getting all these improvements in place and settled in.”
