Car care brand Meguiar’s is kicking off its landmark 125th anniversary celebration this month by joining the car collectors, builders and enthusiasts at the annual Barrett-Jackson auction, set for Jan.17-25 in Scottsdale, Arizona. A team of experts will be on hand to meet with attendees and show off a special “The Duomo” project truck from Fat Fender Garage.
The birthday party will continue throughout the year, stopping at national and local events such as the Grand National Roadster Show Jan. 30 in Pomona, California, as well as World of Wheels, Goodguys, Formula DRIFT, Fuelfest, Monterey Car Week and Luftgekühlt, with a big finish at the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
At each stop, a team of car care experts traveling in the Meguiar’s “Big Rig” will be available to discuss the company’s latest products and answer questions about restoration and protection. Up to 28 of the newest Meguiar’s products for 2026 will be on display, including several that will be used by technicians patrolling the staging lanes at Barrett-Jackson, wiping down vehicles before they go up for sale.

FAT FENDER GARAGE F100
The stops will also feature a stunning project truck built by Fat Fender Garage.
Throughout its 125 years, Meguiar’s has displayed meticulously built vehicles in its event spaces. In the case of Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale, Meguiar’s is presenting “The Duomo,” a 1956 Ford F100 panel truck built for the Castellano family by Fat Fender Garage in Gilbert, Arizona.
Serving three generations of Castellanos, the F100 was originally bought by Steve Castellano’s grandfather to haul furniture for the family business more than 65 years ago. It was then passed down to his father, who used it for school and drove it on his first date with Steve’s mother. It was Steve who wanted to honor this legacy by having Fat Fender Garage create something special.
The ground-up overhaul started with the FFG chassis designed in-house by Fat Fender Garage and manufactured by Porterbuilt Fabrication. Fitted with upgraded suspension components, the chassis also boasts Wilwood disc brakes at each corner and 20-inch Schott wheels with 245/35 front and 335/30 R20 rear tires.
Installed under the custom tilt hood is a Gen-3 Ford Coyote 5.0L V-8 mated to a 10-speed 10R80 automatic transmission, which feeds power to a 9-inch Currie differential.
Once the exterior was immaculately restored, it was painted in a custom mix of BASF Burnt Orange, and visitors to Barrett-Jackson will witness its color shift from deep copper to bright orange, depending on the angle and lighting. The vibrant paint is contrasted by custom graphics and Cerakote accents throughout.
The fully customized interior—complete with wood flooring throughout, in recognition of its furniture heritage—incudes dual climate control systems, a Sony touchscreen head unit, full sound system and modern Dakota Digital gauges.
