Matt Patrick Named DeatschWerks Technical Director

Matt Patrick Named DeatschWerks Technical Director | THE SHOPDeatschWerks has appointed Matt Patrick as its new technical director, the company announced.

Patrick joined the team on Jan. 16 in the newly created role of technical director. In this role, he will be leading the DeatschWerks’ product development, product management, engineering, and technical support functions.

“I am very excited to welcome Matt Patrick to the DeatschWerks (DW) team,” said David Deatsch, founder and president. “Matt’s extensive engineering and product development experience will enable DW to launch more innovative and impactful products both in aftermarket fuel systems and beyond.”

Patrick comes to DeatschWerks from Edelbrock, where he was serving as vice president of product development, and has 25 years of engineering, product development, group management and leadership experience, the company said. He has previously served as Zex product manager (nitrous systems), Lunati commercial manager (engine components), FAST product manager (fuel and ignition), and Comp Cams Group director of product development.

Located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, DeatschWerks provides high-performance fuel system solutions for the automotive aftermarket.
