LSI Chemical Signs Caribbean Distributor

LSI Chemical has signed a new distributor, TechMotive Imports, for Trinidad and Tobago and the country of Guyana to its roster of international distributors, the company announced.

Located in San Juan, this distributor will immediately work with downstream companies in the oil and gas industry and automotive retail to promote and distribute LSI Chemical additives and specialty oils for a wide range of applications and markets. Serving customers throughout the Caribbean region, TechMotive specializes in innovative technology solutions and has a compatible business, Maraj Air Conditioning Ltd. distributing automotive air conditioning and refrigeration parts and service since 1983 in addition to residential and commercial.

TechMotive is now authorized to sell LSI Chemical oil and fuel additives as well as the full line of Hot Shot’s Secret products via retail in Trinidad and Tobago.

“This partnership represents a sizable expansion of our business in the automotive aftermarket and our first entry into additives customized for use at the refinery stage. LSI Chemical’s advanced use of nanotechnology and patented processes that ensures long-term stability of nano carbons for oil additive applications fits with our business plan to grow innovative technologies for automotive,” said TechMotive CEO, Dion Maraj. “We are excited to work with a company that is quickly becoming one of the fastest-growing performance automotive chemical brands in the USA. We feel that the Hot Shot’s Secret brand of specialty oils and fuel and oil additives can be easily marketed to our extensive customer base.”

“LSI Chemical is unique in that we offer companies a dual path for distribution of our patented additives – downstream refinery and retail automotive aftermarket. Our first-class R&D lab provides the opportunity to customize formulas for the oil and petrol industry to meet exact specifications. Our line of Hot Shot’s Secret products, especially the diesel and oil additives where branding is strong, has the advantage of a short sales cycle to build a sales footprint for new distributors,” said LSI Chemical President Todd Cawley.
