The Austin Hatcher Foundation will partner with artist Bill Patterson once again to raise money for families facing childhood cancer…

The Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer, an official charity of IMSA, is returning to New York this week for the Watkins Glen International road-racing circuit, continuing its mission to support families facing childhood cancer. Watkins Glen is home to Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen, an endurance race on the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship calendar. The race will cap off a weekend of events on Sunday, June 22.

‍Leading up to the race, the Foundation will host a series of live painting auctions featuring renowned motorsports artist Bill Patterson on Saturday, June 21. Patterson will create original paintings live at fan-favorite spots around the track, including the Ford, Cadillac and Corvette Corrals. Each one-of-a-kind piece will be auctioned on-site to benefit the Foundation’s free programs for pediatric cancer families.‍

“Weekends like this are so important for the Austin Hatcher Foundation, as they allow us to connect with the motorsports community at one of the nation’s most legendary tracks,” said Foundation president and CEO Amy Jo Osborn. “We’re honored to be part of this incredible setting as we share our mission of providing free, lifelong care to families facing childhood cancer.”

The Austin Hatcher Foundation’s Mission

The Austin Hatcher Foundation says that it stands apart through its innovative Automotive Therapy program and a range of other hands-on services that support the entire family. These include mental health counseling, educational support, and vocational training provided at no cost to families.
