Automotive aftermarket distribution group and specialty marketing firm The AAM Group has expanded its product offering with the addition of Lippert’s trailer components, bringing new opportunities in the light trailer category to its network of warehouse distributors and dealers, company officials stated in a press release. This move builds on nearly 20 years of partnership with Lippert, whose automotive brands—including CURT, Aries, Ranch Hand, UWS, and Luverne—have been trusted staples in the aftermarket for decades.

“The AAM group and its members have been a strong partnership with us for over 20 years. We are thrilled to have them now entering a new category with Lippert axles and replacement parts,” said Mason Ogle, vice president of sales. “Their strong member group and national service coverage will help us give customers easy accessibility to the Lippert Axle parts you need to get you back on the road again.”

Growth Opportunities for Both The AAM Group & Lippert

This partnership opens a new product category for AAM members and creates fresh growth opportunities for both Lippert and the AAM network, noted the release. AAM says the goal is to build a strong national distributor network through AAM members, delivering unmatched support to trailer dealers nationwide.

“We’ve enjoyed a strong and beneficial partnership with Lippert for many years through brands like CURT, Aries, Ranch Hand, UWS, and Luverne, and adding their trailer components is a natural next step for us,” said Tim Odom, president of The AAM Group. “The light trailer category expansion opens the door to new opportunities, creating growth for AAM members and our network of dealers who are anxious for high-quality product alternatives.”

Proven Performance of Lippert’s Premium Parts

Lippert says its trailer axle program brings proven performance and premium parts to the light trailer category. Since 2005, Lippert has supplied axles to the utility trailer and RV industries, producing more than 3,000 spring and torsion axles daily. Their products feature robotic welding for precision, powder-coated tubes to resist corrosion and QAI-certified designs meeting CSA standards for exceptional quality, officials said.

Options include torsion and spring axles with capacities up to 16,000 pounds, forward self-adjusting or hydraulic brakes and upgraded aluminum Valcrum oil caps. Lippert also offers a Premium Axle Parts Retail Program, which provides bearings, hubs, brakes and other replacement components in retail-friendly packaging along with an in-store marketing kit that includes signage, counter mats and headers.
