Leer Group Names Alan Farash as President & COO

Leer Group announces the appointment of Alan Farash as its new president and chief operating officer.
Farash joins the Leer team with senior-level experience in lean manufacturing, strategic business development, operations management and brand positioning, according to the company.
“His proven history of overseeing specialty and commercial vehicle businesses will help strengthen innovation and collaboration with our valued customers and suppliers,” Leer officials stated in a press release announcing the appointment.
Before joining Leer Group, Farash most recently served as REV Recreation Group’s vice president and general manager. Previously, he was president and COO of Reading Truck Body, a business unit of J.B. Poindexter & Co.
“I’m very excited to be here and look forward to working with the Leer team. Leer is an iconic brand with a great history. We have tremendous opportunities for huge industry growth and to deliver a best-in-class customer experience,” said Farash.
He has also held leadership positions at Ford and Workhorse Custom Chassis, and has an MSA in business administration from Central Michigan University and a BSME in mechanical engineering from Kettering University.
