Lamborghini Miura To Take Center Stage at ModaMiami 2026
An exclusive display of Lamborghini’s groundbreaking Miura supercar will be featured as part of ModaMiami’s third annual event…

ModaMiami plans to celebrate the Lamborghini Miura’s 60th anniversary with a dedicated grouping on the showfield. The display will run February 28–March 1, 2026, at The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables during Miami Car Week.
Widely recognized as the first modern supercar, the Miura debuted in 1966 with a revolutionary mid-engine layout and a 3.9-liter V-12 engine producing 350 horsepower, allowing it to reach top speeds of 180 mph, which was a groundbreaking achievement at the time. Its combination of performance, engineering innovation, and bold design redefined what a high-performance car could be, cementing the Miura’s place as a defining model in Lamborghini’s history and a lasting influence on automotive design.
“Since its debut, the Miura has set the standard for performance, design and innovation, influencing the entire supercar world. Over the past six decades, its cultural significance has only grown, and now, everyone fully appreciates the role the Miura has played in automotive history,” said Ethan Gibson, director of communications, ModaEvents. “At last year’s ModaMiami, our Lamborghini Countach class was a clear fan favorite, so honoring the Miura’s 60th anniversary feels like the perfect next step.”
With only 764 Miuras produced between 1966 and 1973, and far fewer surviving today, the Miura is now one of the most sought-after collector cars in the world. Celebrating its 60th anniversary, ModaMiami honors not just a car, but a groundbreaking moment in the history of performance vehicles, noted event organizers in a press release.
ModaMiami Will Feature More Than 24 Classes of Vehicles
In addition to the Miura tribute, ModaMiami will showcase over two dozen curated classes, each spotlighting a unique era, region, or design philosophy in automotive history. From the earliest days of motoring in “Origin Stories: 1915 & Before” to the elegance of “Continental Form: European Pre-War Classics” and “British Luxury,” the show pays homage to the roots of the automobile.
American craftsmanship takes center stage in “Palm Royale: The Golden Era of American Manufacturing” and “Shift & Drift: American Muscle,” while “Streetcode80” and “The Breakout Era” celebrate the street machines and poster cars that defined the 1980s.
Enthusiasts of cutting-edge performance will find their place among “The Featherweights,” featuring fully exposed carbon fiber hypercars; “The Compressors,” dedicated to supercharged engineering; and “The Apex,” highlighting Mercedes-Benz’s most celebrated performance models. “Porsche | Blanc” brings together an all-white dream lineup of Stuttgart’s finest, while “The RETROmods” offers a fresh take on classic forms reimagined for today.
