Builder of off-road expedition vehicles, KRUG Expedition, announced the launch of its brand-new Bedrock XT2 6×6. Built on a rugged 6×6 platform and engineered for boundless exploration, the XT2 introduces the company’s most luxurious, spacious living module yet, setting a new standard for high-end overland travel, company officials stated in a press release.

At over 27 feet in length, the newest rendition of the Bedrock XT2 is KRUG Expedition’s largest vehicle to date and the first to feature a 6×6 all-wheel-drive configuration, dramatically enhancing off-road capability, control and payload capacity. The company says the XT2 is designed for explorers who demand both extreme performance capabilities and uncompromising comfort within.

“The new 6×6 Bedrock XT2 represents the pinnacle of what we’ve always aimed to create—true independence, rugged capability, and the freedom to roam the world in complete luxury,” comments CEO of KRUG Expedition, Slawa Knorr. “With the XT2, we’re not just offering a vehicle, we’re offering an entirely new lifestyle. With enhanced power and performance paired with more interior space than ever before, this new Bedrock XT2 establishes an entirely new level of off-road exploration in the expedition vehicle category.”

Customization & Power of the Bedrock XT2 6×6

Highlights include an expansive interior layout with full-height ceilings and panoramic windows. Premium appliances and a fully functional kitchen make the Bedrock XT2 6×6 feel like a true extension of one’s home, noted the press release. The XT2 also features a full queen-size bed, ample storage space, and a bathroom with a shower and composting toilet.

One other differentiating factor between KRUG and other expedition vehicle builders is that the Bedrock XT2’s module design emphasizes function and is tailored to the needs of long-distance travelers, the company stated. With a wide range of materials and interior components to choose from, KRUG clients can customize their module according to their specific preferences. All interior furniture is made from lightweight wood panels, making them easy to move and reconfigure as needed.

Built on a custom AT44 XT2 FORD F-550 chassis courtesy of Arctic Trucks, the Bedrock XT2’s 330-horsepower 6.7L V-8 diesel paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission allows the 6×6 to tackle just about any terrain. Sporting dimensions of 148 inches in height, 98 inches in width and 330 inches in length, the new 6×6 Bedrock offers an impressive figure whether on or off-road.
