Kooks Headers and Exhaust Announces New Hires

Kooks Headers and Exhaust (KHE) has hired Kyle Cook as Manufacturing Engineer and Shelbie Huffman as Marketing Coordinator, the company announced.

Cook will be tasked with overseeing the design and manufacturing of fixtures as well as improving manufacturing efficiency and finding ways to ease the flow of production. Huffman will be tasked with implementation of social media programs, website promotion and development, digital marketing and coordinating special events. She will also work collaboratively with the sales team to grow the brands’ overall sales and profit objectives, the company said.

Cook is a recent graduate of UNCC with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in math. He also has an Associates in Science from Mitchell Community College in Statesville, North Carolina. During his academic career, Cook worked as a project lead and head coder to create a carbon fiber curing oven to turn carbon fiber sheets into tubes, which were later used by the UNCC rocketry team to construct rockets.

Huffman brings over five years of experience in the marketing field. She holds a degree in Communications, focused on Advertising/Marketing, from Applachian State University and has a wide range of experience in different industries.

Previously, Huffman has worked to ensure the success of marketing campaigns by assisting with the planning, executing and tracking of multiple marketing programs and we look forward to her bringing this level of experience to our team.
