King Engine Bearings to Host Detroit Muscle Race Engine Building Seminar
King Engine Bearings will host a round table seminar on Friday at the PRI Show in Indianapolis featuring three championship race engine builders. Daniel Borshears of Red Rocket Racing Engines, Michael Rauscher of L & M Racing Engines, and Steve Morris of Steve Morris Racing Engines each will share their technical expertise and answer questions during the 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. seminar in room 242 at the Indiana Convention Center. The three men specialize in Chrysler, Ford and GM engines.
Topics covered in the seminar include how to choose the best oil type and viscosity for different race applications, determining and setting the best bearing clearances, achieving the best balance between oil pressure and flow volume, and identifying optimum machining tolerances and surface finish values.
PRI attendees interested in the seminar can reserve a seat and receive a free set of King connecting rod bolt boots at the door by emailing email@example.com or calling 800-772 3670, according to King Engine Bearings.
The PRI Show opened Dec. 7 and runs through Dec. 9.
