Keystone Now Offers Fuel Management by Piusi USA

Keystone Automotive Operations has welcomed Piusi USA as its newest truck and off-road vendor. Piusi, formed in 2009, is a global leader in fuel management systems based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The company-an extension of its Italian parent company of the same name-was launched to better serve the North and South American markets.

The Piusi brand was established by Franco Varini in 1953, manufacturing agricultural equipment and irrigation systems for decades, before developing its first diesel fuel transfer pump in 1980. Since then, the company has continued to expand its product offerings, innovating a wide range of fluid handling equipment for the management and distribution of DEF, gasoline, oil, and other fuels.

A diverse product catalog serving a variety of markets, from agriculture to marine to automotive, aptly reflects the meaning behind the name Piusi, which means many uses, according to the company.

Partnering with Keystone provides Piusi USA the ability to better serve its customers in the automotive aftermarket, shortening response times and exploring new business opportunities, thanks to the distributor’s vast network of independently owned and operated retail outlets and strategic marketing initiatives, according to the distributor.

“Keystone is excited to welcome Piusi into its portfolio of commercial truck products. In addition to high-quality fuel transfer pumps, Piusi has several unique products for commercial truck applications in the fuel management segment that make them a great option for our commercial truck upfitters,” said Scott Percival, Keystone category manager. “We are excited about the new partnership with Piusi, and look forward to heling them grow their business through automotive distribution.”

Original Designs, New Technologies, Quality Systems

Piusi’s main product focus is on the development and production of transfer pumps, flow meters, pulse meters, refueling nozzles, lube equipment, compressors, and management, monitoring, and measuring systems.

“Our aim has always been to offer products adequately researched and designed for the dispensing, transferring, and metering of fuels, lubes, and water-based products,” the company stated in a news release. “Piusi’s consistent growth in international markets is the result of our commitment to values and operating standards.”  These include a responsibility to engineering dependable, easy-to-use products, and keeping a finger on the pulse of changing market trends and demands to better serve its customers’ needs.
