Keystone Confirms Partnership with Hot Wheels Car Care Products
Keystone Automotive Operations Inc. now offers the Hot Wheels Americana Series Car Care Products. Americana Pro Detailing Products is an automotive appearance care company based in New York and official licensee of the Hot Wheels trademark and trade dress owned by Mattel.
“Hot Wheels is Hot Wheels-a 50-year-old brand rooted in car culture. It’s touched all our lives, in one form or another, growing up. We can all agree there’s an experiential element that Hot Wheels brings to any car owner-it brings out the kid in all of us,” said Dan Pikarsky, president and founder of Americana Pro Detailing Products. “The bottles, the products, the packaging-¦ it’s all designed to remind us of those orange tracks we grew up with. What’s in the bottle is as good as what’s on the bottle.”
The introductory lineup of high-quality cleaning and detailing products is designed to clean, enhance and protect vehicles. The Hot Wheels Americana Series Car Care is manufactured in the U.S. using professional-grade ingredients and formulas, according to the company. Products include Hot Wheels Wash & Wax, Epic Shine, All Wheel Cleaner, Pro Tire Cleaner, as well as Pro Tire Finish.
Hot Wheels Americana Series Car Care products were revealed at the 2017 SEMA Show. The line has experienced “incredible growth in a short time,” according to Americana Pro Detailing Products.
During the fall of 2017, it was announced that the Americana Series would be the official car care products of championship-winning John Force Racing, with its branding featured on all four team vehicles. Just a year later, Hot Wheels Car Care partnered with Keystone Automotive Operations to distribute its products at the retail level.
“We’re proud of this new partnership. It’s a perfect line for Keystone to offer its customers,” said Joe Rutledge, category director of performance at Keystone. “This is an iconic brand that’s now offering premium car care products-”developed and brought to market by fellow enthusiasts.”
