Kahn Media Receives Two Platinum Hermes Creative Awards
Agency wins highest honors for its public relations work with Maserati & its rebrand & relaunch of the Malco Automotive car care brand…

Kahn Media—a full-service marketing agency specializing in the automotive, outdoor and luxury lifestyle markets—recently received two Platinum Hermes Creative Awards for its strategic rebranding of Malco Automotive and extensive public relations efforts for Maserati.
The Hermes Creative Awards is one of the oldest and largest creative competitions in the world, with winners ranging in size from individuals to Fortune 500 companies, according to officials in a press release. Each year, a panel of international judges evaluates and selects the creative industry’s best publications, branding collateral, websites, videos, advertising and communication programs from hundreds of applicants. Winners in a multitude of categories are honored with either a Gold Award or the highest-level Platinum Award. The competition is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, an organization that supports the efforts of creative professionals who contribute their talents to public service and charitable endeavors.
Strategic Campaign | Branding Refresh for Malco Automotive
Kahn Media received a Platinum Hermes Creative Award in the Strategic Campaign | Branding Refresh category for its rebranding of Malco Automotive. An automotive detailing and car care product company with a 70-year-plus history, Malco Automotive wanted to forge a new path into the future to better engage with consumers. Kahn Media says that it accomplished this by creating an exciting new look for the brand that still paid homage to its legacy.
The extensive rebranding involved all visual aspects of Malco Automotive, including its logos, color palette, packaging, product photography, typography, social graphics and environmental design. Non-visual brand aspects, such as a new brand voice and position, were also incorporated along with a strategic repositioning for Malco’s entry into the direct-to-consumer market.
Strategic Campaign | PR Campaign for Maserati
Kahn Media won another Platinum Hermes Creative Award in the Strategic Campaign | PR Campaign category for its 2024 Monterey Car Week public and media relations campaign for Maserati. Multiple activations during the 10-day-long event that regularly draws over 100,000 attendees and the attention of the global media would serve as the critical debuts of two of Maserati’s luxury hypercars, noted the press release.
In the weeks leading up to the keystone event, Kahn Media team members crafted press releases, carefully vetted media attendees, invited select journalists and content creators to exclusive events, and arranged interviews with select Maserati executives. During Monterey Car Week, Kahn Media lent on-site support by hosting media drives at the exclusive House of Maserati activation and coordinating a press conference for the worldwide debut of the GT2 Stradale. According to the company, a highly coordinated media outreach effort also resulted in 30.1 billion impressions across a multitude of media outlets.
