Interactive Garage Software, an automotive accessory configurator program, has become a participant in the CDK Global Partner Program, a third-party partner program offering a marketplace of applications and integration.
“Since displaying at the 2018 NADA Show it was clear that the automotive dealership market was primed for an accessory configurator,” said Ryan Hagel, CEO and founder of Interactive Garage. “OE and aftermarket accessory sales in 2018 was reported at over $45 billion dollars, of which new vehicle dealerships accounted for less than 10 percent of those sales. Essentially proving that dealership customers were leaving after purchasing a vehicle and heading down the road to another retailer to personalize their new ride. Along with declining profit margins on new vehicle purchases, dealerships are realizing accessories are a great way to get back margin as well as enhance the overall purchase experience with their customers.”
Interactive Garage is an automotive accessory sales tool with a “try it before you buy it” experience. It allows customers to see what certain accessories would like on a vehicle using a computer generated image.
The CDK Global Partner Program provides its partners with access to a diverse CDK ecosystem through the ability to integrate with a range of CDK applications, as well as with CDK dealer websites. Interactive Garage provides a seamless in-frame application to the CDK dealer website that instantly showcases over 10,000 OE and aftermarket accessories for a montly fee, according to the company. The company also offers an instore personalization display stand.
