Inaugural Hotrods ‘N Helos Classic Car Show Coming to Huntington Beach
New event will raise money for the Huntington Beach Police Officers Association & Foundation…
For the first time ever, QruisinPCH, creator of Quarantine Cruise, is uniting with the 42 Foundation (Huntington Beach Police Officers Association and Foundation – HBPOA/HBPOF) to bring the passion for classic car culture to Surf City for the Hotrods ‘N Helos Classic Car Show in Huntington Beach, California.
Set for Sunday, March 30, the inaugural event, presented by Optimum First Mortgage, combines the excitement of Southern California’s classic car culture with an up-close helicopter experience.
Proceeds from Hotrods ‘N Helos will benefit the 42 Foundation, which has provided more than $1.4 million in contributions since 2000 to support law enforcement programs, community aid and the wellbeing of Huntington Beach Police Officers Association employees and their families.
“We are thrilled to partner with QruisinPCH for the inaugural Hotrods ‘N Helos Classic Car Show,” said Mark Wersching, police officer and president of the HBPOA. “This event not only showcases the incredible car culture we have here in Southern California, but also brings our local community together to support this great cause. The funds raised will directly benefit programs that strengthen our ability to provide aid to those in need within our law enforcement family and the broader Huntington Beach community. It’s going to be an unforgettable weekend for car and aviation enthusiasts alike.”
Hotrods ‘N Helos will celebrate the best of SoCal’s car culture, featuring hot rods, classics, customs, vintage, trucks, old muscle and more, all set against the scenic backdrop of Huntington Beach in Orange County, California.
Adding to the excitement, the vehicles will be displayed alongside law enforcement and privately-owned helicopters.
“We’re honored to bring the same energy and community spirit that built the Quarantine Cruise to the inaugural Hotrods ‘N Helos event,” said Ken Johnson, one of the four founding members of QruisinPCH. “This is more than just a car show—it’s a celebration of Southern California’s rich automotive culture, paired with the unique thrill of seeing these amazing vehicles alongside helicopters. Partnering with the 42 Foundation allows us to make a meaningful impact, and we couldn’t be more excited to create a memorable experience for car enthusiasts, families and the local community.”
The car show event is free to spectators. Highlights include vendors, an extensive VIP hospitality area, an of array local food trucks, live entertainment, and more.
