Lubrication Specialties (LSI), manufacturer of Hot Shot’s Secret performance lubrication products, has added Justin Brown as marketing project coordinator and Mike Meyer as the company’s new bypass filtration product specialist for Frantz Filter.

Brown, a graduate of Ohio Northern University, has broad experience in digital marketing, graphic design, video, research, and budgeting. As a former social media manager for Ohio Northern University’s (ONU) esports program, he managed social media accounts to optimize exposure and audience engagement.

As marketing project coordinator, Brown will coordinate all marketing and media initiatives – digital, print and broadcast. He will assist in branded advertising campaigns, evaluate current trends, manage promotional campaigns and presentations, and ensure all projects proceed timely and on budget. Brown reports directly to Hot Shot’s Secret Brand Manager Josh Steinmetz.

“This is a critical position and one that I rely on heavily to ensure all campaigns are running smoothly. Justin has excellent computer skills, is highly organized and is familiar with the critical apps and programs used to keep the Hot Shot’s Secret brand front and center with our customers. He is doing an excellent job of filling the very big shoes left by Kaysie Keen with her recent appointment to field marketing manager,” said Steinmetz.

LSI created a new position, bypass filtration product specialist, in March to accommodate the company’s growing demand for Frantz Filter oil bypass filters. Formerly a technical sales representative with Race Winning Brands, Meyer’s primary role is to provide tech support to dealers and end customers as they incorporate a sustainable by-pass filter designed for light and medium class trucks to reduce oil maintenance costs and extend the life of engine oil.

Duties will involve working directly with marketing and R&D to fully develop a vehicle application database and develop support materials including video installation instructions to integrate the company’s Frantz filtration systems with the Hot Shot’s Secret brand. Meyer is reporting to LSI’s Director of Marketing Bud Prenatt.

Prenatt adds, “Mike quickly impressed us with his automotive tech and customer service skills. He quickly grasped the potential for this product line and was able to offer suggestions that can be implemented. This product line has a great deal of potential and we feel confident that Mike is the right person to manage this product category.”
