After announcing 12 finalists for Best New Product at its virtual online trade show The Event 2023, The AAM Group has now crowned a winner.
Go Rhino took home the Overall Best New Product award of The Event 2023 for its El Gato Hydraulic Jack, as chosen by attendees. After winning the Outdoor Adventure category, El Gato beat out champions in 11 other categories to capture the overall title.
The innovative jack takes its name from the Spanish word for “cat,” inspired by the analogy of cats sitting under cars with their tails hanging out —right where a jack would be used, according to a press release announcing the winner.
El Gato climbs a toothed metal support like a cat scaling a tree, able to lift high-profile vehicles. Its nine double-lugged locking points provide lifting strength and security that match a cat’s nine lives, the release stated.
Other highlights include a single-action relief lever to ensure slow, smooth and safe load descent, and a main body crafted from robust 6062-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum enhanced with a sleek charcoal anodized coating.
The ergonomic cast-aluminum handle features a sleek black powder-coat and delivers easy handling and control. The jack is compatible with several other accessories in the Go Rhino El Gato series.
