GEN-Y Hitch, a manufacturer of heavy-duty towing products and innovative hitch solutions, announced the expansion of its sales team with the addition of Jesse Del Toro as international sales manager and Nick DeFreese as central regional sales manager.

In his new role, Del Toro will lead GEN-Y’s efforts to expand its global footprint, build strategic partnerships and strengthen relationships with international distributors and dealers, company officials stated in a press release. With years of experience helping U.S. brands enter new markets, Del Toro brings the expertise and hands-on leadership needed to support GEN-Y’s global growth.

“GEN-Y is entering an exciting chapter of international growth,” said Luke Stump, GEN-Y Hitch director of wholesale. “Jesse brings both the drive and experience needed to take our brand to the next level worldwide, while Nick’s deep knowledge of the Central U.S. market continues to strengthen our domestic partnerships. Together, they will help us serve our customers more effectively and grow our presence in key markets.”

DeFreese Is Already Making an Impact at GEN-Y Hitch

DeFreese, who joined earlier this year as central regional sales manager, has already made a significant impact by strengthening relationships with dealers and distributors across the region, the company said. His customer-focused approach and industry expertise help GEN-Y provide superior service and support to its domestic network.

“I’m excited to continue building on the momentum in the Central region,” said DeFreese. “Our focus remains on helping dealers and distributors grow with GEN-Y while delivering the best experience for their customers.”

Del Toro Brings Two Decades of Experience

With over 22 years of experience in the automotive industry, Del Toro began his career at Pep Boys before joining BAK Industries in 2007, which later became part of RealTruck. During his 18-year tenure, he held multiple leadership roles, including general manager of the BAK factory and Canadian and Western U.S. sales manager, overseeing a diverse portfolio of brands.

“I am excited to be joining a energetic and enthusiastic team, dedicated to providing quality, premium American-made products,” said Del Toro.
