Free Webinar Covers Healthcare Updates Prior to Open Enrollment

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) will host a free webinar at noon EST on Wednesday (Oct. 17) regarding changes to the Affordable Care Act.

“The House of Representatives and Senate neither repealed/replaced, nor stabilized the Affordable Care Act during the 115th Congress. Despite the deadlock, Congress did enact noteworthy legislation such as repealing the individual mandate penalties and suspending certain healthcare taxes,” NFIB stated in the webinar announcement. “The Administration pushed an executive order intended to promote healthcare choice and competition across the United States. This webinar will provide an update on legislative and regulatory activities related to healthcare.”

Kevin Kuhlman, senior director of federal government relations for NFIB, will lead the webinar. He will provide healthcare market updates and developments just as open enrollment is set to begin on Nov. 1.
