Ford Motor Co. Certifies Spanesi Products
Spanesi Americas has earned global certification by the Ford Motor Co. and joins a prestigious list of tool and equipment providers that are currently in the Ford program, according to the company.
“After our combined development and testing efforts at the Ford Paint and Body Technology Center, I am pleased to announce our continuing approval of Spanesi products-Collision Repair Benches, Electronic Measuring Systems, Welding Equipment, Self-Piercing Rivet Gun, all other Spanesi body repair support products,” wrote Gerry Bonanni, Paint & Body Senior Technical Engineer at Ford Motor Co., in a letter announcing the Spanesi certification.
Ford’s letter of North American and Global Certification of Spanesi products comes after a thorough evaluation phase of Spanesi equipment and tools, according to the company.
“Spanesi is very proud to be included in Ford’s continued efforts to present OEM certified tools and equipment to the collision repair industry,” said Timothy W. Morgan, chief operations officer of Spanesi Americas Inc. “For the past several years, we have been working diligently with our OEM partners to provide collision repair facilities tools and equipment that meet and exceed the requirements necessary to properly repair collision damaged vehicles back to OEM standards.”
