Last year, Ford brought the electric SuperVan 4.2 to Pikes Peak with overall record holder Romain Dumas behind the wheel. The new F-150-based truck will be piloted by the French racing driver as Ford attempts to take the fastest overall record from VW, which has been in place since 2018.

Ford is using the new F-150 alongside other electric projects to continually develop the limits of electric vehicles. Learn more here.
