Car and Driver reports that Fisker has paused production on its Ocean SUV. The news comes just behind reports of the EV brand negotiating with a large auto manufacturer.
The six-week production pause began March 18 and will carry on until mid-April. Despite the pause in production, the brand continues talks with an unnamed automaker.
According to Car and Driver, the continued talks surround a joint EV platform, which would be utilized by both the manufacturer and Fisker to produce consumer vehicles. The pause in production is meant to help the brand “align inventory levels and progress strategic finance initiatives.”
