Cloyes Gear & Products Inc., designer of mission-critical timing drive systems and components for the automotive aftermarket, announced the appointment of Eric Renaud as vice president, sales for Rotomaster and Cloyes, effective Oct. 6, 2025. This strategic appointment reinforces the company’s commitment to succession planning, leadership development and sustainable global growth, company officials stated in a press release.
Renaud brings more than 32 years of automotive aftermarket experience to his new role, with a proven record of cultivating customer relationships and accelerating market growth. His comprehensive expertise spans sales, merchandising, category management, product development and brand strategy execution. Renaud’s ability to create synergy between product teams and sales organizations will strengthen customer trust and drive continued growth across both the Rotomaster and Cloyes brands, noted the release.

Other Additions & Transitions at Cloyes & Rotomaster
This appointment follows the recent addition of Jeff Cook as chief marketing and product development officer for Cloyes and Rotomaster. Cook brings more than 25 years of marketing and product strategy leadership, most recently at Bridgestone. The company says these strategic appointments position Cloyes to accelerate growth and innovation across both brands.
In conjunction with this appointment, Cloyes also announced that Tim Murphy will transition into the role of senior advisor of sales effective Jan. 1, 2026. Murphy’s leadership and contributions have been instrumental to the company’s success, and his ongoing support during this transition period will ensure continuity and strengthen the organization’s path forward, officials said.
