Electrogenic Acquires TREMEC Electric GT To Expand Its US Operations

British EV technology company Electrogenic has acquired the business of TREMEC Electric GT, establishing a permanent base in the United States as it enters the next stage in its North American expansion, company officials said in a press release.
The acquisition of the California-based business further enhances Electrogenic’s position in the EV powertrain space and gives it a base in Huntington Beach, providing the ideal platform to further scale its North American operations, noted the release.
For Electrogenic, the acquisition builds on the momentum of its international growth, adding a permanent U.S. base to its Oxford, UK headquarters and its ever-growing global network of partner installers. With the establishment of its U.S. headquarters, Electrogenic will be able to deliver its EV powertrain technology to a larger base of North American customers, with an enhanced level of local service.
