Eibach-Equipped Teams Win Victories at Best in the Desert Vegas to Reno Event

The 500-mile race put the speed & endurance of every racer & vehicle to the test…

Performance suspension systems company, Eibach, congratulated its race ambassadors for their showing at the legendary Best In The Desert Vegas to Reno event, hailed as one of the longest off-road races in the United States, officials stated in a press release. The 500-mile “Casey Folks Vegas to Reno” challenge tested the grit, speed and endurance of every competitor, and Eibach-equipped teams swept the overall win, Trick Truck division victory and multiple podiums across 6100 and 4800 classes.

Tracey Graf Captures Overall & Trick Truck Victory

Tracey Graff and co-driver Justin “Bean” Smith piloted the #58 Racer Engineering Trick Truck to the overall win, finishing as the top four-wheeled vehicle on course. Starting second off the line after a strong qualifying run, Graff and teammate Frankie Randell laid the foundation before handing driving duties to Smith, who crossed the finish line in 8:12:32.437.

With just nine competitors starting in the Trick Truck class, only four reached the finish.

“Man, it was a challenge and a battle. Thank you to everyone involved. I’ve been racing Vegas to Reno on and off for nearly 20 years, and this is my first win here,” said Smith at the finish line.

Graff echoed the emotion, dedicating the win to teammate Sam’s beloved dog Stella, saying, “It only felt right to do everything we could to win Vegas to Reno. Feels good to get it done.”

The victory by Graff and Smith capped a clean sweep for Eibach in the elite Trick Truck division, with Craig McCarthy (#48) finishing 2nd in 8:34:39 and John Bowers (#84) securing 3rd place on the podium.

Jason Coleman Wins for the Fourth Consecutive Year

In the highly competitive 6100 Spec Truck division, Jason Coleman and navigator Brady Melin powered their #6192 1Nine Industries built truck to victory for the fourth consecutive year. Coleman’s class-winning time of 8:24:23 was good enough for the 2nd fastest overall full-size vehicle. There were 20 starters in the class and 16 that crossed the finish line.

Coleman, who qualified third in class before race day, delivered another statement on consistent performances: “Four times in a row. I cannot say thank you enough to everyone involved with our program to make this happen. This isn’t luck, this is hard work with an amazing group of people.”

All top five finishers used Eibach springs. Trey Gibbs, in his Mason Motorsports-built #6115, finished 2nd in class and the 3rd fastest overall on corrected time, crossing the finish line in 08:27:05.615 seconds. Dane Miller secured 3rd in class, followed by Justin Blower in 4th and Brent Fox in 5th, locking out the top five.

Justin Hall Takes the 4800 Victory

Eibach performance was also on full display in the 4800 Legends class, where Justin Hall debuted a new car and drove the full 500-mile course to victory in 11:59:03, noted the release. Hall crossed the line with more than an hour gap over second place.

“Man, what an absolutely crazy experience this was. We came, and we conquered. Our pit crews were the game-changer. Without them, none of this would have been possible,” said Hall after the race.

Eibach says it is proud to stand behind its racers, winning the overall, sweeping podiums and celebrating back-to-back-to-back-to-back class champions.
