Dynatrac Relocates Manufacturing to East Coast Gear Supply’s Facility

The state-of-the-art engineering & manufacturing facility will streamline operations, elevate quality & accelerate delivery…

RANDYS Worldwide—a supplier of aftermarket parts including drivetrains, axles and performance components, truck suspensions, wheels and hitches—has announced the relocation of Dynatrac manufacturing to East Coast Gear Supply’s (ECGS) 100,000-square-foot engineering & manufacturing facility in North Carolina. This consolidation marks a strategic move to optimize operations and enhance production capabilities by uniting two of the industry’s top aftermarket performance axle brands under one roof, company officials stated in a press release.

East Coast Gear Supply has been manufacturing differentials and axles for over 20 years. Due to growth, ECGS has moved five times since its inception. In 2019, it designed a state-of-the-art manufacturing line dedicated to complete axle production.

Founded in 1988, Dynatrac is known for its high-clearance axle designs and custom and crate axle solutions. Originally headquartered in Huntington Beach, California, Dynatrac’s continued growth prompted the need for a more scalable manufacturing environment.

Two World-Class Brands in One World-Class Facility

“Engineering and producing complete axles are a complex science,” said Mike Naish, chief commercial officer of RANDYS Worldwide. “This move allows us to streamline operations, elevate quality and accelerate delivery to meet the growing demands of our customers.”

“We are a long admirer of Dynatrac and have learned much from them as they forged the path in crate axles; their innovation and commitment to quality is unquestionable,” says Chase Perry, founder of East Coast Gear Supply. “This strategic alignment positions both ECGS and Dynatrac to better serve customers by leveraging both partners’ strengths. We relish the opportunity to prove what two great companies can produce as one.”

This relocation underscores RANDYS Worldwide’s ongoing investment in American-made manufacturing and its commitment to delivering the highest quality drivetrain solutions to its customers across the performance, off-road, and general automotive sectors, noted the press release.
