Sonic Gods Studios’ new inspiring motorsport docuseries “Just Hands: For the Love of Racing” is now streaming on Prime Video. The four-part series is a character-driven, human journey that explores the breaking of mental and physical barriers, stated company officials in a press release.
Blending personal storytelling with high-performance racing, “Just Hands” follows Torsten Gross, a quadriplegic race car driver and founder of the Just Hands Foundation, on his quest to compete at the highest levels of GT motorsport. He sets out to prove that adaptive athletes can be elite racers, going head-to-head against all drivers on equal terms.
“Visibility matters—big time. ‘If you can’t see it, you can’t be it,’” said Gross. “When I got into motorsports, I noticed something missing: people like me. The few disabled driver stories were about racers who got injured and came back. But what about someone like me—someone who was already in a chair and wanted to race? This docuseries proves that race, gender, orientation and ability don’t define success.”
“This isn’t just about racing,” said Chris Hayman, CEO of Sonic Gods Studios. “It’s about rewriting assumptions about who belongs on a racetrack, and what’s possible when access meets ambition.”

The Love of Racing Knows No Boundaries
With a cinematic production style and emotional depth, the high-octane, yet intimate series challenges perceptions and defies the limits of what is possible, noted the release. It’s a story of resilience and grit that brings visibility to the experiences of people with disabilities and the work of the Just Hands Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to redefining accessibility in motorsports and beyond. Partners in the series include Pennzoil, Yokohama Tire Corporation, Artlist and The Feinberg Method.
“Torsten’s story is a powerful reminder that the love of driving knows no boundaries; it’s driven by passion, performance and persistence,” said Angela Edgar, vice president of lubricants marketing at Pennzoil, which works with the Just Hands Foundation to bring more adaptive racing vehicles to tracks nationwide. “Pennzoil is proud to support this inspiring docuseries that challenges convention and proves the thrill of getting behind the wheel can be accessible to all. Long May We Drive!”
The series is produced by Sonic Gods Studios, the creators of the critically acclaimed series “60 Day Hustle,” and marks the studio’s first major entry into motorsports storytelling, paving the way for several upcoming projects in the category. Sonic Gods is represented by UTA.
Yokohama Tire Supplies Tires for the Streaming Series
Yokohama Tire, one of the partners of “Just Hands: For the Love of Racing,” supplied its ultra-high-performance ADVAN A052 tires for Gross’s race car.

“Yokohama is honored to have helped tell Torsten’s incredible journey,” said Alan Holtschneider, Yokohama’s director of marketing. “It’s truly compelling, heartfelt and inspiring, and shows what’s possible with drive and determination.”
“Yokohama’s support helped make this series a reality, showing what’s possible when performance meets purpose,” added Chris Hayman, executive producer of the show.
