New Director of Business Administration Named at KYB
Patrick Smith’s main assignment will be to keep KYB focused on being its customers’ best supplier…
KYB Americas Corporation says that it is committed to the growth and development of its associates, which includes promoting from within whenever possible. To that end, Patrick Smith has been named director of business administration.
Smith is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, has a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership, as well as an MBA from the Indiana University Kelly School of Business.
“I’m honored by this opportunity,” stated Smith. “The automotive aftermarket is built on trust, quality and strong relationships, and I’m excited to continue that tradition at KYB. I look forward to working closely with our customers and partners to deliver the world-class shocks, struts and service they count on every day, while exploring new ways to better serve the industry’s evolving needs.”
Patrick will also have direct responsibility for the Greenwood, Indiana, KYB Distribution Center operations. Smith started at KYB two years ago and has risen through the ranks quickly. His background as a captain in the U.S. Army has proved to be beneficial, according to KYB.
“Patrick is a true professional, and he is prepared to manage the KYB Greenwood, Indiana, office and DC operations. His exceptional leadership and organization skills have already helped increase KYB’s ability to support our customers and staff,” said Mike Fiorito, former KYB director of business administration.
KYB states that its goal is to be its customers’ best supplier, and Patrick’s main assignment is to help keep them focused on that objective.
