The United States Patent & Trademark Office has issued a patent to Directed for its DS4 and DS4+ technology.
The patent—titled Remote vehicle system configuration, control, and telematics—covers vehicle control systems that include a Bluetooth radio onboard and have the ability to communicate with devices, such as tablets or smartphones using that connection.
