DIESEL Motorsports Preparing for 12th Year in Business, Expanded Schedule

DIESEL Motorsports is entering its 12 year of putting on racing eventsDIESEL Motorsports is headed into its 12th year of providing sanctioned diesel sled pulling, drag racing, show-n-shine and dyno competitions across the United States.

Gene Mohney and Ron Knoch left DHRA to start NADM (National Association of DIESEL Motorsports) on Oct. 27, 2007. DIESEL Motorsports went to SEMA for the first time as its own business and sanctioning body for diesel ¾- and 1-ton pickup racing, pulling and dyno competitions.

“DIESEL Motorsports have always stated their organization as the only sanctioning body because NADM took the trouble to obtain their own ruleset, bought SFI sanctioning status and event/liability insurance,” DIESEL Motorsports stated in a news release. “All other promoters/race organizations for diesels instead filed for ASO (Alternate Sanctioning Organization) with SFI and NHRA.”

DIESEL Motorsports continues to entertain rural enthusiasts with diesel pickups, rat rods and semis either drag racing, pulling, Show-n-shine and dyno competition in family-friendly fair-style across rural America, according to the company.

DIESEL Motorsports will announce new events, locations, and event features during the PRI Show (booth No. 1837), set for Dec. 6-8 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.
