Dick Cepek Sponsoring Overlanding Adventure This Week
Dick Cepek Tires & Wheels is sponsoring the first Four Wheeler Overland Adventure, a three-day overlanding trip through remote trails in central Arizona, set for May 14-16. The deadline to register is Wednesday, March 13.
“We’re very excited to welcome Dick Cepek Tires as the Official Tire of the 2019 Four Wheeler Overland Adventure,” said Ken Brubaker, editor of Four Wheeler. “Overland Adventure will include navigating rugged backcountry terrain, and that type of terrain is synonymous with tough, proven Dick Cepek tires. It’s a perfect fit for the Original Adventure Tire.”
Limited to 20 overland vehicles, the adventure will feature backcountry trail-riding by day, camping by night, and finish up at the 2019 Overland Expo West Show in Flagstaff, Arizona, where participants will be invited to park their vehicles in Four Wheeler magazine’s Overland Adventure Camp area.

We encourage everyone who would like to participate to get their applications in as soon as possible-those 20 spots are going to fill up fast.”
Email applications are being accepted until March 13 at overlandadventure@fourwheeler.com. Participants must provide their own overland-capable vehicles. The Overland Expo West will follow this event from May 17-19 at Fort Tuthill County Park.
The adventure route has been carefully planned by a professional guide and includes terrain for a variety of skill levels and sizes of overlanding vehicles, according to officials. Group campsites will be utilized, where participants can enjoy the camaraderie of their fellow overlanders after a gourmet dinner prepared by a professional chef.
Eligible vehicles must be overlanding-style-defined as capable of extended backcountry travel, outfitted with integrated sleeping accommodations either in or on the vehicle or in or on an off-road-capable trailer-be equipped with four-wheel drive, have a two-speed transfer case and be street legal.
