Deadline for Inaugural AACF Humanitarian Award Nominations Has Been Extended

The Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF) is extending the deadline for nominations for the inaugural AACF Humanitarian Award, sponsored by NEXUS North America. Originally set to close on Jan. 31, 2025, nominations will now be accepted through Feb. 28, 2025, giving the industry additional time to recognize and honor those making an impact through humanitarian efforts.

This award celebrates individuals, companies, associations, or groups within the automotive aftermarket industry who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to improving the lives of others. AACF says that nominees should exemplify compassion, selflessness, and a strong commitment to social responsibility, with a proven impact on local, national, or global communities.

“We’ve received inspiring nominations so far, and by extending the deadline, we hope to allow even more outstanding individuals and organizations to be recognized for their contributions,” said John Kairys, executive director of AACF.

Nominations will be reviewed by a selection committee comprised of AACF board and executive committee members, along with a NEXUS executive. The recipient of the AACF Humanitarian Award will be announced at Auto Care Connect 2025, where they will receive recognition for their outstanding contributions.
