Daystar Products Hires Sales Manager
Phoenix-based Daystar Products International has hired Chris Fairless as a sales manager. Fairless will work directly with major accounts in the U.S. and Canada, and mentor Daystar’s team of regional sales managers. He will report to the company COO.
Adding another industry veteran to the team reflects Daystar’s “commitment to continued growth in the performance automotive, truck, Jeep, and aftermarket accessory industry,” according to a company news release.
“I am excited to wake every day with a team committed to innovation, constant improvement, and growth,” said Daystar CEO Mark Turner. “Chris brings his passion, depth of experience, and broad knowledge of the industry to make the most of Daystar’s great opportunities.”
Fairless brings to Daystar more than 30 years in automotive retail, wholesale, eCommerce, manufacturing and marketing, according to the company.
“I have had a passion for cars and the auto industry my entire life and couldn’t wait to join the automotive industry,” Fairless said. “Joining it pretty much as a kid I was fortunate to be mentored by several great veterans in the industry. This set the tone for the pride, work ethic, and commitment in my career.”
Fairless has already worked directly with key Daystar accounts, including Transamerican/4 Wheel Parts, Amazon, Quadratec, Keystone Automotive Operations, Summit Racing, Meyers Distributing, and Premier Performance.
Fairless is an active industry volunteer serving on several Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) committees and task forces during the past 25 years. He currently serves on the Light Truck Alliance (LTAA) Select Committee.
