Collectors’ Car Garage Selects CTEK as Preferred Battery Charger

CTEK has been selected as the official supplier of chargers for Collectors’ Car Garage (CCG). CCG provides climate-controlled storage facilities for the preservation and storage of vintage and collectible vehicles. Located in Chicago and in Bedford Hills, New York, the two facilities can accommodate up to 700 cars, with a total of 135,000 square feet of floor space. The dust-free environments utilize digital camera surveillance, plus 24-hour life-safety systems and fire protection, according to the company.

CCG members will be able to purchase CTEK devicies, including the CTEK MXS 5.0, from the CCG member store located on premises. The CTEK MXS 5.0 has an automatic temperature sensor to manage the duration and rate of charge. It is able to sense the ambient battery condition throughout the charging cycle, according to the company, allowing users to avoid overcharging that can damage cells and shorten battery life.
