Classic Recreations, the restomod builder known for its officially licensed Shelby continuation cars and custom Ford Mustang restorations, has entered a new era under Velocity leadership. With a revitalized brand direction, a focused product lineup, an updated visual identity and a renewed licensing agreement with Shelby, Classic Recreations moves forward backed by Velocity’s resources, engineering standards and production systems, company officials stated in a press release.

Classic Recreations’ refined model range now centers on its most iconic builds: the 1967–68 GT500 with a steel body, the 1967–68 GT500CR with a carbon-fiber body, the 1969 Boss 429, the 1969 Hitman and the Shelby Cobra. This streamlined lineup allows the team to prioritize quality, engineering precision and predictable production timelines, ensuring each model continues to uphold the legacy that made the brand renowned, noted the release. The renewed licensing agreement with Shelby affirms that all continuation GT500s and Cobras produced by Classic Recreations will remain officially recognized.

Classic Recreations’ Updated Website & Rebrand

The relaunch also includes a redesigned Classic Recreations website that simplifies the customer experience and provides clearer paths to model information, build reservations and details on the company’s updated production approach, officials said. A refreshed logo and visual identity further reflect the elevated craftsmanship and engineering focus guiding the brand’s next chapter.
