Bring a Trailer has announced the auction of a Lincoln Continental Coach Door Edition. The rare example features rear-hinged passenger doors harkening back to the Lincoln Continental designs of 1961-69. In total just 230 examples of the Coach Door Continental were built between 2019 and 2020.
The Coach Door Edition was the top trim level for the time, including a stretched wheelbase offering 6 extra inches of legroom for rear passengers and a full center console running the entire interior wrapped in Alpine Venetian leather.
Power comes from a 3.0L Twin Turbo Ecoboost V6 engine with AWD and a six-speed automatic transmission. From new the Coach Door Edition cost over $116,000, with just over 1,000 original miles this Continental will certainly see some attention. Auction ends Wednesday, July 10.
