Bring a Trailer is auctioning a custom aluminum-bodied 1956 Corvette. The metalwork was first fabricated in 1961 in image to Lister-style bodywork.
The 265-ci Chevrolet V8 with dual four-barrel carburetors mounts to a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission sitting on Martz independent front suspension, adjustable coilovers, rack-and-pinion steering. The chassis is modified from the original 1956 Corvette chassis.
The custom won best Custom Coachwork at the 2023 Quail, Motorsports Gathering. The brake system features Tilton dual master cylinders along with front discs and rear drums, red four-piston calipers, drilled and slotted rotors, and an electric parking brake.
