Classic Mopars To Cross the Block at Barrett-Jackson Columbus Auction

Barrett-Jackson is auctioning some of the most iconic classic and late-model Mopar collectible vehicles with no reserve during this year’s inaugural Columbus Auction, June 25–27, 2026, at the Ohio Expo Center & State Fairgrounds, auction officials said in a press release. Among the most notable classic Mopars is the custom 1973 Plymouth AAR ‘Cuda powered by a Dodge Viper V-10, and a custom 1969 Dodge Charger SE that received an extensive rotisserie restoration.

Late-model Mopars include the 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon 6X6 custom pickup powered by a Hellcat V-8 engine, and a 2022 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat powered by a Hennessey Performance H1000-upgraded supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine rated at 1,000 hp. Dodge’s commitment to performance will be on display all week, including thrill rides in its latest models and the presenting sponsor of the Fantasy Bid game, noted the release.

Custom 1973 Plymouth AAR ‘Cuda

The custom 1973 Plymouth AAR ‘Cuda (Lot #753) is powered by a Dodge Viper V-10 nestled in a detailed engine bay, paired with a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission. It is built on a custom chassis that features rack-and-pinion steering, an upgraded suspension system and modern braking components. Finished in a custom color combination, it rides on custom wheels with performance tires.

Custom 1969 Dodge Charger SE

This custom 1969 Dodge Charger SE (Lot #715) received an extensive three-year rotisserie restoration and was built to Pro-Touring specifications to re-create the blown Dodge Charger used in the film “The Fast and the Furious.” The Charger is powered by a supercharged V-8 paired with a high-performance 727 automatic transmission. It is finished in Dodge TX9 Black and features a custom interior with Vintage Air, Dakota Digital gauges and a Painless wiring system.

1970 Dodge Coronet R/T Convertible

Other Mopars crossing the block include the rotisserie-restored 1970 Dodge Coronet R/T convertible (Lot #705) that is powered by a V-Code 440/390 hp Six-Pack V-8 backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. It is one of 16 convertibles that came out of the factory with that engine combination in 1970.

1970 Dodge Challenger T/A

A 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A (Lot #707) is powered by its matching-numbers 340ci Six-Pack V-8 engine paired with a D32 3-speed automatic transmission. It is one of 2,399 Challenger T/A models produced for that model year and is equipped with power steering, power front disc brakes, heavy-duty shocks and suspension, and is painted in FC7 Plum Crazy paint.

The Columbus Auction will have two extraordinary examples: a custom 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon 6X6 pickup and a pristine 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon Launch Edition. Both will cross the block with no reserve, with the highest bidder driving home an extraordinary collectible.”

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon 6X6 (Lot #721) custom pickup features a drivetrain with a Super Duty axle swap with Artec JT truss kits, rebuilt axles with 4.11 gears and upgraded driveshafts. Lighting upgrades include a KC HiLiTES Pro6 light bar, auxiliary lighting on the bumpers and rack, red rock lights, Oracle RGB projector headlights and an auxiliary lighting control panel. The interior features a RoadWire red leather upholstery kit, Alpine Restyle head unit and Sundown Audio sound bar with four 8-inch speakers and four tweeters.

The Jeep Gladiator (Lot #714) that started as a Rubicon Launch Edition is powered by an all-aluminum Mopar-supercharged 426ci HEMI crate engine producing an estimated 1,000 hp and 950 pound-feet of torque. Upgrades include American Adventure Labs High-Line fenders and front and rear fender inserts, Baja Designs LED lighting, Rock Hard 4×4 bolt-in interior front and rear safety cage, Rockslide Engineering electric side-steps, skid plates and a rear passenger step.

Custom 2022 Challenger SRT Hellcat

Another late-model Dodge is the custom 2022 Challenger SRT Hellcat (Lot #697). Powered by a Hennessey Performance H1000-upgraded supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine rated at 1,000 hp and paired with a TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission. It is factory-equipped as a Redeye Widebody Jailbreak, which includes fender flares, a high-performance engine controller, SRT power chiller and widebody competition suspension. It is finished in its original Go Mango paint and is wrapped in a satin full-body XPEL paint-protection film.

Other Notable Mopars up for Auction in Columbus

• 1959 Chrysler 300E convertible (Lot #662) — Equipped with two of the rarest options available across the letter-series cars: Air Sweep (the oil- and belt-driven rear air-ride system) and Autopilot cruise control, making it one of just six convertibles produced with Air Sweep and the only known example fitted with both options.
• 1972 Plymouth Barracuda custom coupe (Lot #672) — Powered by a HEMI V-8 engine mated to a T56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission; finished in two-tone Sublime Green and Metallic Pearl Black.
• 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner Superbird re-creation (Lot #445) — Powered by a 402ci V-8 stroker engine with a four-barrel carburetor paired with an automatic transmission; interior has been completely redone and features bucket seats and a custom steering wheel.
