The Austin Hatcher Foundation and Michelin announce the launch of the “Drive Together: Because Families Matter” campaign, a new initiative aimed at supporting families facing pediatric cancer. The initiative was launched during the Motul Petit Le Mans weekend.
Michelin, in collaboration with the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer, is committed to driving progress for families in need by ensuring that no child fights cancer alone, according to the company. Pediatric cancer treatment goes beyond medicine, encompassing whole child and whole family supportive care, officials stated.
“We believe that by ‘driving together,’ we can create a better future for every child affected by cancer,” said Tom Sullivan, motorsports marketing at Michelin. “This campaign is a powerful reminder that pediatric cancer care must support the whole family, and Michelin is dedicated to helping children and families receive the care they deserve.”
“Drive Together” emphasizes that the journey through pediatric cancer requires more than just medical treatment. It involves comprehensive care that meets the emotional, mental and physical needs of both the child and their family. Programs include educational support, mental health services, occupational therapy, family counseling and more.
“The campaign invites everyone to join Michelin in making a difference. By supporting ‘Drive Together: Because Families Matter,’ individuals, teams, drivers and fans can contribute to the ongoing efforts of the Austin Hatcher Foundation in providing free supportive care for children with cancer and their families.”
