Audrain Motorsport Expands 2026 Veteran Car Tour to Full Weekend

This May, Audrain Motorsport is expanding the Veteran Car Tour into a full weekend, transforming Newport and Bristol, Rhode Island, into a living showcase of automotive history, event officials stated in a press release. Collectors and enthusiasts from across New England and the United States will bring rare and historically significant brass-era cars to the road, offering a chance to witness vehicles that are seldom seen outside private collections.

The tour opens on the morning of May 16 with a short drive through Newport, followed by a luncheon at the historic The Vanderbilt, Auberge Collection, before continuing with two days of scenic touring through Newport and Bristol, a region long celebrated for its motoring heritage. This is a rare opportunity to capture classic cars in motion and explore the engineering and legacy that make them milestones in American automotive history, noted the release.

“This tour is quickly becoming one of the most meaningful brass-era gatherings in the country,” said Nic Waller, president of the Audrain Group. “Seeing these veteran cars on the road is both a tribute to the earliest days of the automobile and a reminder of why Newport, Rhode Island, remains such a special home for motoring culture.”

Collectors with brass-era cars can sign up for $395 per vehicle, which includes two people per car, all driving activities, Saturday lunch and Sunday breakfast and lunch.
