Aston Martin Pushes Back EV Plans

The brand has rolled back plans for electric models until at least 2030...

Autocar reports that Aston Martin has announced plans to push back the brand’s first electric model and will continue to offer combustion engines into the 2030s. 

Alongside the announcement, Aston Martin plans to offer more plug-in hybrid models from now through 2030. According to Aston Martin CEO Laurence Stroll, “customers have told dealers they want sounds and smells from their cars.”

Aston Martin is in the process of developing their own unique EV platform, and plan to offer four different models when they finally roll out their EV lineup.
